The Toronto Holocaust Museum is seeking an Associate Director of Education to lead its educational initiatives. This pivotal role requires demonstrated leadership with at least 5-7 years of experience in museum or educational settings. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree in History, Education, or Museum Studies, alongside a robust understanding of Holocaust history and education best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver school-based programming and workshops
• Oversee school visits and volunteer training initiatives
• Set strategic engagement direction with educational stakeholders
• Manage institutional partnerships and collaborative opportunities
• Evaluate educational programs and analyze data for improvements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant field
• 5-7 years of leadership experience in museums or education
• Experience in program and budget development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends
Lead educational programming and foster relationships in Holocaust education at the Toronto Holocaust Museum.
