Laboratory Specialist in Health Sciences

Humber Polytechnic is hiring a Laboratory Specialist in Health Sciences to enhance anatomy and physiology education. This position involves managing labs, tutorials, and practical assessments in a collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, you will support student learning through direct instruction and innovative educational resources. Additional responsibilities include managing cadaver collections and complying with safety standards while leading engaging lab experiences for future health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging anatomy and physiology lab sessions

• Guide students through cadaver and specimen preparation

• Collaborate with faculty for enhanced curriculum delivery

• Coordinate lab schedules and inventory management

• Maintain compliance with biosafety regulations

Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in relevant field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education

• Strong skills in anatomical dissection and adult learning

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and educational platforms
