Instructional Designer: Learning & Development

Shape the future of learning at Alterna as an Instructional Designer. Focus on the development of impactful training programs that enhance employee engagement and skill transfer.

This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning strategies, aimed at creating effective training for various audiences. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to craft learning modules and support overall training goals for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design curriculum aligned with business objectives

• Develop and pilot learning experiences

• Ensure accuracy and alignment of training content

• Maintain and manage LMS for training offerings

• Participate in company wide presentation development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design or education

• 3 years’ relevant instructional design experience

• Strong skills in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate)

• I4PL certification required as CTDP

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
