Position: Become a Guitar Teacher at Merriam Music
Share your guitar expertise with students at Merriam Music, welcoming teachers of all styles—from jazz to flamenco. We are looking for dedicated instructors and professional musicians.

At Merriam Music, we prioritize a long-term commitment from our educators, with many teachers considering our academy a home for their careers. We are seeking both full-time core instructors as well as professional artists who can teach occasionally. We accept applications from across the GTA and other provinces, from Dartmouth to Saskatoon, encouraging widespread musical exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in various guitar techniques

• Contribute as a guest lecturer for specialty courses

• Support online learning initiatives with content

• Provide mentoring for aspiring musicians remotely

• Judge student performances as a part of assessments

Requirements:

• Expertise in multiple guitar styles

• Prior experience in teaching or performing
