Position: EIP3000H Seminar Lecturer - U of T
Shape discussions on ethnicity, immigration, and pluralism as a Sessional Lecturer for EIP
3000H at the University of Toronto. Engage graduate students through insightful lectures and academic mentorship.

This position is ideal for candidates with a PhD in International Relations, specializing in immigration. You will develop syllabus content, teach weekly lectures, prepare assignments, and assess student performance. Weekly office hours will also be required to guide students academically throughout the course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop syllabus and course materials

• Teach one 2-hour graduate lecture each week

• Conduct weekly office hours for student support

• Prepare and deliver assignments and tests

• Mark student work and submit grades

Requirements:

• PhD in International Relations focused on immigration

• Previous teaching experience in related fields preferred

• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion

• Ability to adapt to potential delivery method changes

• Engaging communication skills for graduate-level instruction
