Early Childhood Educator at Abiona Centre

Make a difference in early childhood mental health as an Early Childhood Educator with Abiona Centre For Infant & Early Mental Health. This full-time temporary role supports young mothers and their children in creating secure relationships.

As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team at the Early Learning Centre, you will design stimulating programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers while maintaining staff-child ratios. Position requirements include collaborating with community partners to provide essential educational and mental health support. You will engage with young mothers to help them and their children thrive during crucial early years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging early childhood programs for young learners

• Ensure compliance with staff-child ratio requirements

• Collaborate with community support partners

• Monitor and facilitate the well-being of children

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Two years’ experience with infants and toddlers

• Knowledge of Early Learning Framework and CCEYA

• Current Standard First Aid certification with CPR
