Pay: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour

Oxford Learning North York Willowdale is seeking part‑time teacher‑tutors to provide in‑person instruction in math and science for high school students. Pre‑planned lessons are provided; teachers receive full training in the company’s pedagogical philosophy.

• Availability during after‑school and evening hours (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
• Available for a minimum of 2 evenings per week
• Commitment through the end of the 2026‑2027 school year (June 30), with possible summer extension
• In‑person instruction required
• Must be able to commute to the designated location; relocation packages not available
• Mandatory vulnerable sector screening

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification is an asset
• Good knowledge of current Grades 9‑12 math and science curriculum, including but not limited to Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, vectors, physics, chemistry, and biology

• Some experience teaching/tutoring math and science at Grades 9‑12 (or equivalent) level
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at different levels
• Conduct both online and in‑person sessions
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Complete post‑lesson notes
• Provide daily student communication updates
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
