As a Student Success Mentor, this role allows York students to assist peers by promoting services that help meet educational goals. You'll utilize essential communication and collaborative skills to create an engaging campus community. Building relationships will be key as you guide others in their personal and academic journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Share information to assist student goal attainment
• Plan programs and social events to foster engagement
• Collaborate with students on shared objectives
• Offer helpful insights for informed decision-making
• Promote available university resources and services
Requirements:
• Must be a registered student at York University
• Relevant work experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers
• Commitment to building a supportive community
