Lead an engaging classroom experience in the Faculty of Arts & Science as a Sessional Instructor for Intro to Game Design. The course, running in Fall/Winter 2026–27, takes a blended approach to learning.
This position focuses on equipping students with essential skills through comprehensive course delivery for DIGF-. You’ll develop the syllabus, conduct lectures, and engage in critiques while providing insightful feedback. A terminal degree in art or design is required, with teaching experience being an advantageous asset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the course curriculum and studio preparation
• Deliver lectures and practical game-making exercises
• Evaluate student projects and provide feedback
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Meet academic deadlines consistently
Requirements:
• Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline
• Relevant teaching experience beneficial
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven leadership in fostering respectful learning environments
• Valid eligibility to work in Canada required
