Student Engagement Liaison

Position: Full-Time Student Engagement Liaison Role
Join York University as a Full-Time Student Engagement Liaison, specializing in supportive services within the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design. Deliver frontline assistance and high-quality student support.

This role, reporting to the Director, Student & Community Engagement, involves supporting students in the Office of Advising and Integrated Student Services. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or relevant experience in student services, a keen ability to manage sensitive issues, and a focus on service excellence in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective and confidential student support

• Assist with academic advising and enrollment processes

• Navigate sensitive situations with care and professionalism

• Communicate important information clearly

• Engage with students to enhance their university experience

Requirements:

• Two years of recent experience in student services

• Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and other student systems

• Ability to work in a team and independently
