Teach Modern Korean Art & Society at OCAD University for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 term. This in-person course explores Korea’s art and societal transformation from the late 19th century.
The Faculty of Arts and Science at OCAD University invites applications for a sessional instructor position in Modern Korean Art & Society. Successful candidates will develop course outlines and deliver engaging lectures while ensuring a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. The role necessitates creativity in teaching methodologies and adeptness in evaluating student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop course outlines tailored to curriculum requirements
• Prepare and deliver lectures and critiques
• Evaluate student performance through mid-terms and finals
• Ensure health and safety standards in classroom settings
• Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
Requirements:
• Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline
• Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to promote inclusivity in teaching
• Eligible to work in Canada
