Position: Vaganova Ballet Instruction for All Ages
Join The Russian Ballet as a classical ballet instructor specializing in the Vaganova method, teaching students from ages 12-17 and adults. This part-time role starts September 1, with flexible evening and Sunday hours.

In this long-term position, you will implement the Vaganova syllabus, engaging students in both children’s and adult programs. Responsibilities include preparing for an annual showcase and incorporating private lesson opportunities based on student enrollment. Additional adult classes will be available with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead classical ballet classes for varying age groups

• Prepare students for an annual showcase event

• Conduct private lessons tailored to students’ interests

• Provide input on repertoire alongside the artistic director

• Engage in adult ballet classes year-round

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Vaganova ballet program

• Master’s in choreography or professional dance experience

• Teaching experience in additional dance styles is welcomed

• Russian language skills are a plus

• Must possess working rights in Canada
