As an Academic Peer Support Assistant, you will plan, implement, and evaluate developmental programs aimed at improving academic performance. Your responsibilities will focus on fostering an engaging learning atmosphere and motivating fellow students to achieve their educational goals. This position, funded through Work Study, is ideal for York University students looking to leverage their language skills while enriching the campus community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement peer development programs for students
• Provide instructional support in French language
• Collaborate with peers to achieve academic goals
• Offer insights to help peers make informed decisions
• Demonstrate leadership to motivate fellow students
Requirements:
• Must be a currently enrolled York University student
• Previous work experience is an asset
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Understanding of student academic needs
• Ability to take the initiative in supporting peers
Support academic success and engage with fellow York students as a Bilingual French Tutor.
