Position: Sessional Instructional Assistant for Accounting
Contribute to the academic journey of students as a Sessional Instructional Assistant for MMI
1040H Accounting at the University of Toronto this Fall 2026. Engage with students, manage assignments, and assist in their learning process.

This part-time role requires a graduate student in Accounting or a preferred PhD candidate. Key responsibilities include marking assignments, meeting with students for guidance, and invigilating exams. Experience in grading accounting courses will be essential and Quercus proficiency is preferred to facilitate assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be available online during class hours for sessions

• Mark assignments after thorough preparation

• Meet with students to discuss coursework

• Invigilate the final examination

• Assist in grading tests and final assessments

Requirements:

• Graduate student in Accounting or PhD candidate preferred

• Experience in grading tests and exams

• Familiarity with Quercus platform

• Available Wednesdays 10 AM to 12 PM
