Innis College Writing Instructor Positions

We are inviting applications for up to four Writing Instructor roles for the academic year. Instructors will conduct individual teaching sessions, focusing on essential writing elements such as organization, persuasive argument, and effective expression. Responsibilities may include preparing instructional materials and giving group workshops based on the center's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate students on university writing
• Prepare instructional materials and writing handouts
• Deliver group instruction in workshops
• Produce writing advice files for online distribution
• Adapt teaching methods for diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Master's degree from a recognized institution
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience teaching postsecondary students
• Ability to teach both in-person and online
• Preferred prior experience in writing-focused courses
Engage students to enhance their writing skills through tailored instruction and resource development at Innis College.
