Homeroom Teacher in French

Position: Full-Time Homeroom Teacher in French
Become a Full-Time Homeroom Teacher at TFS’s Toronto campus, beginning September 2026. This role focuses on delivering a bilingual education for young students, nurturing their academic journey.

As a permanent member of our La p’tite école, you will facilitate learning for students aged 2 to Grade
1. Your responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, understanding diverse learning needs, and tracking student progress. Collaborating with parents and staff will enhance your students' educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an inclusive and engaging classroom for young learners

• Utilize effective resources to motivate students

• Oversee student assignment progress and provide feedback

• Plan comprehensive course materials and activities

• Establish strong relationships with families and staff

Requirements:

• Education degree and teaching certification (OCT preferable)

• Proficient in both French and English

• Experience in early childhood education as a homeroom teacher

• Familiarity with French curriculum

• Knowledge of IB and Ontario education programs is a plus
