Lead exciting summer camp initiatives with Tropicana Community Services as a Program Coordinator in Scarborough, Ontario. Support youth development and learning through hands-on activities.
The full-time position runs from June to August 2026, contributing to impactful summer programming. You will be responsible for guiding campers through diverse STEAM activities while ensuring their safety and happiness. Strong leadership and communication skills will be essential as you build rapport with campers and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead camper activities focusing on inquiry and fun
• Create and manage weekly schedules for activities
• Assist campers in STEAM-based learning experiences
• Ensure a secure and welcoming environment
• Communicate camper updates and feedback to parents
Requirements:
• Enrollment in post-secondary education in Youth Development
• Previous community service experience required
• Strong communication skills necessary
• Positive, flexible approach to challenges
• Must comply with Canada Summer Jobs eligibility
