Art Instructor Kids

Position: Art Instructor for Kids at The Make Station
Inspire creativity in children as an Art Instructor at The Make Station in Toronto. Lead engaging art classes and help kids explore their artistic abilities every weekday afternoon and evening.

The Make Station is seeking part-time Art Instructors who are passionate about working with children aged 5-16. This role requires previous experience with kids and a background in teaching art or related fields is a plus. Instructors will plan fun art projects, teach various mediums, and maintain an encouraging studio atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead age-appropriate art projects

• Teach diverse mediums: painting, sculpture, and more

• Prepare materials and ensure a clean studio

• Build positive relationships with children and families

• Assist with camps, parties, and special events

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children

• Teaching art or related experience is preferred

• Background in Fine Arts or Education is an asset

• Strong communication skills

• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
