7020Y. Focus on shaping the Intermediate/Senior English curriculum in Ontario.
This teaching position is designed for candidates with a doctoral degree or equivalent graduate qualifications and relevant experience in K-12 educational settings. You will prepare course materials that cover critical aspects of English and media teaching aligned with Ministry guidelines. A strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and prepare course content effectively
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback
• Conduct office hours for student assistance
• Participate in planning meetings with the instructional team
• Submit the course syllabus as per departmental requests
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree or relevant graduate education
• Proven K-12 teaching experience in English
• Demonstrated subject expertise through scholarly works
• Knowledge of inclusion and diversity best practices
• Possession of an Ontario Teaching Certificate preferred
