University Video Art Lecturer

The University of Toronto Scarborough is hiring for a Video Art Sessional Lecturer position for the FALL 2026 semester. This in-person role requires a strong background in video art production and teaching.

We are looking for candidates with university-level teaching experience, particularly in video art production, to lead the VPSB
58H3F course. The ideal applicant should possess skills in camera operation, audio mixing, and post-production using Adobe Creative Cloud. Responsibilities include designing course content, grading assignments, and offering office hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and instruct the Video Art course curriculum

• Effectively deliver course content and manage deadlines

• Conduct office hours to assist students with projects

• Engage in collaborative exhibitions with faculty members

• Complete final grading by the end of the term

Requirements:

• Proven teaching experience in video art at the university level
