Join the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Arts & Science as a Sessional Lecturer for a pivotal communication course. This role is designed for individuals passionate about teaching advanced communication skills to STEM students.
This appointment focuses on the CSC
2701HY – Public Speaking & Presentation Delivery module. Instructors will oversee a maximum of four sections, engaging students in developing vital communication skills for their careers.
Your role will include the management of lectures, tutorials, and assessments while collaborating in a hybrid teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials
• Plan assessments and grading criteria
• Provide guidance and support to students
• Maintain course-related resources and communication tools
• Supervise TA assistance and support
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM discipline
• Demonstrated experience in career coaching
• Proven teaching experience and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Evidence of teaching excellence is preferred
