OCAD University is seeking a Sessional Instructor for its Animated Documentary course, which examines animation as a medium for non-fiction. Your expertise in art or design will be vital as you develop course outlines, prepare lectures, and conduct evaluations. This position contributes to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment for diverse students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver course outlines and lectures
• Facilitate studio classes and critiques
• Conduct grading and evaluations at mid-term and end
• Ensure health and safety compliance
• Mentor and supervise Teaching Assistants
Requirements:
• Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant field
• Experience teaching at post-secondary level is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to inclusivity in educational settings
• Ability to provide mentorship for students
