Description:

Basic features of the grammar. Acquisition of essential vocabulary for practical conversation and for comprehension. Development of reading and writing skills. May not be taken by students who, in the judgment of the Department, qualify for entry into Elementary BCS II, SLA
257H1 or SLA
277H1.

Preferred qualifications: Masters in Slavic Studies (essential) or Doctorate in Slavic Studies

Minimum Qualifications: M.A. degree in Slavic Languages and Cultures required, Ph.D. preferred. Native fluency or near native in spoken and written Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and near native English required.

Description of Duties: Teaching SLA
117H1F, Elementary Bosnia/Croatia/Serbia:
Preparing for classes, teaching in class, designing and administering and grading assignments as appropriate, providing students with adequate feedback. There is a graduate component to this class.
