Experience in tutoring or teaching high school English is crucial for this in-person role, with an option for online support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized academic support aligned with Ontario curriculum

• Strengthen students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills

• Prepare students for assessments and exams, including OSSLT

• Develop engaging lesson plans promoting growth and confidence

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching or tutoring high school English

• Familiarity with Ontario English curriculum (Grades 9-12)

• Reliable transportation to travel to students’ homes

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for helping students succeed academically
