Program Coordinator for International Students

Enhance the international student experience at the University of Toronto as a Program Coordinator. This full-time role involves developing and implementing impactful programs for diverse student groups.

The Program Coordinator for International Student Development Programs will engage with a dynamic team within the Centre for International Experience. You will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the journey of international students throughout their academic experience. Critical skills include program planning, collaborative programming, and intercultural communication, making this position vital for fostering a supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement curricular and co-curricular programs

• Determine logistical details for events and activities

• Develop content for marketing and promotional materials

• Write summary reports on programs and services

• Foster networks to build capacity and collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline

• 4 years’ experience in international student programs

• 3 years’ experience in student development initiatives

• Strong intercultural communication skills

• Knowledge of international student transitions in higher education
