Personal Space course. This role invites you to explore three-dimensional design and engage students in productive learning experiences.
This teaching position will involve leading students through the design of human-scale environments and objects, along with facilitating iterative studio work. You will be responsible for course planning, delivering critiques, and grading evaluations while ensuring students learn in an inclusive setting. Promoting research and keeping up with academic standards will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and execute a detailed course syllabus
• Conduct lectures and studio sessions for students
• Guide students through design processes and projects
• Offer constructive feedback on studio work
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Professional design experience relevant to course content
• At least two years teaching experience preferred
• Commitment to a diverse and inclusive learning environment
• Understanding of design research methodologies
• Eligible to work in Canada
