Enhance student connections in the mining sector as a Student Program Coordinator with PDAC. This hybrid role requires event planning, logistical execution, and social media management.
The Coordinator for Student and Early Career Program will support PDAC's initiatives to link students and early career professionals with industry leaders. You will manage the annual convention, promote student programs, and coordinate outreach events aimed at the mineral exploration and mining industries.
Your role will also involve logistical support during the Student Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop and other key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning the Student & Early Career Program at PDAC Convention
• Execute student outreach events and manage associated logistics
• Oversee social media to promote student opportunities
• Support S-IMEW logistics, including transportation
• Maintain contact lists and manage PDAC bursaries
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of event coordination experience
• Degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license for transportation duties
