Forensic Biology Instructional Assistant Position

This role spans from September 1 to December 31, 2026, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of forensic biology. As an Assistant, you will demonstrate lab techniques, aid students, and optimize processes related to DNA extraction and analysis. Ideal candidates will possess extensive forensic biology experience and a strong educational background in the life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging in-lab demonstrations to students
• Prepare and set up lab materials for practicals
• Consult with students to enhance learning outcomes
• Optimize DNA extraction and quantitation processes
• Oversee PCR applications for genotyping and electrophoresis analysis
Requirements:
• Masters in Biology or 5+ years in forensic biology
• Experience in forensic DNA profiling and lab practices
• Expertise in molecular biology methods
• Familiarity with forensic evidence analysis
• Professional designation in forensic science preferred
