As a key player in the Centre for Learning and Teaching, you will report to the Manager of Teaching Support. You'll develop and evaluate Indigenous learning initiatives across undergraduate and graduate programs, focusing on curriculum renewal and faculty support. Engage with the Indigenous community and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure systemic barriers to learning are addressed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead curriculum development for Indigenous perspectives in programs
• Coordinate needs assessments for Indigenous student experiences
• Organize the revision of Indigenous Learning Outcomes
• Facilitate consultations with Indigenous community partners
• Support online course design for Indigenous art and history
Requirements:
• Indigenous citizenship and community connection
• Master's degree in Indigenous Education or related fields
• Minimum four years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous pedagogies and methodologies
• Experience with consultation and needs assessment processes
Contribute to enriching curriculum and Indigenous student success at OCAD University through innovative educational leadership and community engagement.
