Sessional Lecturer in Indigenous Education

Lead the Curriculum and Teaching in Social Studies course with a focus on Indigenous perspectives at the University of Toronto. This role emphasizes practical and conceptual approaches for teaching Grades 4-10.

The Sessional Lecturer will explore Indigenous and settler narratives in Canadian education, addressing identity and ecological knowledge. You will engage students through seminars dedicated to methodology and assessment strategies while fostering an understanding of Social Studies and Aboriginal Studies integration. Your teaching practices will focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion within K-12 contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
