The University of Toronto Scarborough is seeking a sessional lecturer for the course BIOD
26H3F. Candidates should be nearing completion of their Ph.D. and possess relevant teaching experience. This role demands designing lectures, guiding student discussions, and managing various course assessments to enhance student understanding of fungal infections and host defenses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging lectures on fungal biology
• Guide student discussions to deepen comprehension
• Assess oral presentations and writing assignments
• Prepare and grade final exams and data collection exercises
• Hold office hours for student support
Requirements:
• Near completion of a Ph.D. in a relevant field
• Experience teaching fungal biology topics
• Ability to work on-campus in person
• Preferred experience at UTSC
• Commitment to diversity in teaching practices
