The University of Toronto is seeking a qualified Sessional Lecturer to guide candidates through curriculum planning and English Language Arts practices. You will engage students with written, visual, and virtual texts, while emphasizing equity, diversity, and inclusion. Prepare to inspire future educators through comprehensive course content aligned with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize the graduate curriculum course
• Teach methodologies for English in Intermediate/Senior divisions
• Provide feedback and assistance to students
• Attend pre-course planning and instructional meetings
• Submit course syllabus as requested by the department
Requirements:
• Doctoral or relevant graduate degree required
• Relevant K-12 teaching experience
• Mastery in subject area with scholarly publications
• Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion practices
• Ontario Teaching Certificate is an asset
