As a Sessional Lecturer, you will prepare and deliver the CTL
7088H course focusing on Visual Arts Education for Primary and Junior learners. This role requires a doctoral degree, mastery in subject matter, and a commitment to teaching excellence. You will foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment while integrating contemporary approaches to Art Education throughout the course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize course content for CTL

• Teach and support graduate students in Visual Arts

• Provide timely evaluations and feedback on assignments

• Attend pre-course planning and departmental meetings

• Develop lesson themes and integrate with diverse disciplines

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, including online methods

• Evidence of knowledge in equity, diversity, and inclusion

• Strong understanding of Ontario curriculum policies

• Ontario Teaching certificate is an asset
