Facilitator for Black Achievers Program

Lead youth engagement and mentoring through the Black Achievers Program at the Etobicoke YMCA. Utilize your community outreach and workshop facilitation skills to empower Black youth.

This full-time Workshop Facilitator role at the YMCA of Greater Toronto focuses on supporting Black young people's academic and social development. You will plan and deliver mentoring programs, recruit and train mentors, and engage in interactive workshops. This position emphasizes building relationships and fostering a safe, affirming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain engaging workshop materials

• Facilitate virtual and in-person learning experiences

• Document attendance and maintain confidential data

• Assist with program marketing and outreach

• Collaborate with team members on participant progress

Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma preferred

• At least two years of group facilitation experience

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Knowledge of community resources and educational systems

• Commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives
