Ontario Credential Evaluator Bilingual Role

Join Ontario College of Teachers as a Bilingual Evaluator, where you will assess international credentials for teacher certification. This role features a unique mix of remote and in-office work.

This limited-term appointment at Ontario College of Teachers focuses on evaluating teacher qualifications from various countries. You will interpret regulations and assess documents to ensure they meet Ontario standards. Your bilingual proficiency will be tested as you communicate with applicants and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess international teacher education credentials

• Request additional documentation when necessary

• Conduct assessments for Additional Qualifications (AQ)

• Collaborate with colleagues on certification decisions

• Research international education systems and trends

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree preferred; postsecondary education required

• Two years of experience in credential assessment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to problem-solve effectively in a team

• Proficiency in both French and English, verbally and in writing
