Prep Academy Tutors aims to ignite a passion for learning through personalized instruction in English. We are looking for talented individuals who have experience in tutoring or teaching high school English and are familiar with the Ontario secondary curriculum (Grades 9-12). This in-home, in-person role allows you to make a real difference in students’ academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empower students with targeted, personalized academic support

• Strengthen essay writing, reading comprehension, and grammar skills

• Prepare students for exams and classroom assessments effectively

• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored for each student

• Communicate with parents about student progresses

Requirements:

• Proven experience in high school English education

• Familiarity with Ontario secondary curriculum necessary

• Valid registration with the Ontario College of Teachers preferred

• Reliable transport for in-home visits

• Passion for fostering literacy and academic success
