Experienced Intermediate Tutor Role

Transform the academic journey of students as an Experienced Intermediate Tutor with Prep Academy Tutors. This role focuses on providing engaging, in-home, and in-person support for Grades 4-10 in North Toronto and Downtown Toronto.

We seek passionate tutors equipped to teach multiple subjects, enhancing students’ confidence, foundational skills, and instilling effective learning strategies. Successful candidates will understand the Ontario curriculum and will have experience teaching or tutoring intermediate-aged students in various subjects, fostering a personalized learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized academic support for Grades 4-10

• Tutor core subjects:
Math, English, Science, and more

• Create individualized learning plans for students

• Regularly update parents on students’ academic progress

• Assist students with assessments and projects

Requirements:

• Relevant experience teaching or tutoring Grades 4-10

• Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Teachers preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring
