In this teaching role, you will lead the Animated Documentary course, focusing on animation as a method of storytelling through real-world narratives. Your responsibilities will include curriculum development, classroom instruction, and student evaluations. This position supports OCAD U's commitment to diversity and engagement in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement course outlines and lectures
• Conduct studio classes and critiques
• Assess student progress with mid-term and final evaluations
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Provide support and guidance to Teaching Assistants
Requirements:
• Terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant field
• Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to inclusivity in education
• Ability to offer mentorship to students
