Sessional Lecturer for Visual Arts Education

In this role, you will teach the CTL
7088H course to a cohort of 35 students, utilizing your expertise in Art Education. As a candidate, you must have a doctoral degree and relevant teaching experience, along with a proven ability to create engaging curriculum content. This position focuses on preparing future educators to address the diverse educational needs of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach curriculum for CTL
7088H course

• Evaluate and offer feedback on student assignments

• Be accessible for student inquiries outside class hours

• Participate in course planning and instructional team meetings

• Explore integration of Art Education with other subjects

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and course delivery

• Knowledge of fair and inclusive educational practices

• Familiarity with Ontario Ministry of Education policies

• Ontario Teaching certificate is advantageous
