The Toronto Zoo seeks enthusiastic Seasonal Wildlife Educators for various programs, from elementary education to family events. This part-time role encompasses both in-person and virtual sessions, emphasizing curriculum-based learning. Educators will be expected to work evening or overnight shifts as required, providing a unique opportunity to deepen connections between wildlife and community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum-based programs for diverse age groups

• Set up and maintain a safe learning environment

• Assist in creating educational resources as needed

• Coordinate schedules with Zoo staff for programs

• Communicate effectively with group leaders regarding program details

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in biology, education, or related field

• Experience delivering nature programs to youth

• Knowledge of animal conservation issues

• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability

• Bilingual in French is an asset
