IBAC Instructional Design Specialist Position

As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will develop educational materials for IBAC's national professional development programs, including the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation. Collaborating with various stakeholders, your role will prioritize accessibility in course design and effective learning methodologies. This hands-on position fosters educational growth for brokers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design learning content for national educational programs

• Create courses using tools like Articulate Rise and D2L Brightspace

• Develop supplemental textbooks and learner support resources

• Implement best practices in instructional design

• Collaborate to refine course content and ensure quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field

• 3-5 years of instructional design experience

• Demonstrated ability to create content for diverse learners

• Familiarity with learning management systems like D2L Brightspace

• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
