Position: In-Home English Tutor for High School
Join Prep Academy Tutors as an in-home High School English Tutor, impacting students in North Toronto and Downtown Toronto.

Your role will involve crafting engaging lessons to foster English skills and confidence.

This position requires a dynamic educator who is dedicated to supporting high school students with their English studies. You'll create tailored lesson plans, facilitate learning experiences aligned with the Ontario secondary English curriculum, and ensure student engagement. The role includes communication with parents to monitor student growth and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging personalized learning plans for students

• Assist with reading comprehension and literature analysis

• Help prepare students for exams and assessments

• Offer remedial support and enrichment opportunities

• Communicate progress and set goals with parents

Requirements:

• Previous experience in high school English education

• Strong understanding of the Ontario English curriculum

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Education program acceptable

• Valid registration with Ontario College of Teachers preferred

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel for sessions
