Sew & Style:
Fashion Design Camp
introduces aspiring designers to the exciting world of fashion through hands-on sewing and design projects. Campers learn basic sewing techniques, explore fashion concepts such as sketching, fabric selection, and design planning, and create their own unique pieces.

With guidance from experienced instructors, participants develop creativity, confidence, and practical skills, culminating in a fun showcase where they proudly present their designs. This program is perfect for young fashion enthusiasts ready to bring their ideas to life.

Position Overview:
Fashion & Design Sewing Instructor

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated individual to lead our Sew & Style Fashion Design programs. This role involves working with students in both camp and after school settings, guiding them through sewing projects while fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Lead hands-on sewing and fashion design sessions for students ages 7–14
  • Teach basic sewing skills, design concepts, and safe use of tools and equipment
  • Support students in sketching, fabric selection, and constructing simple projects
  • Encourage creativity, independence, and confidence in a supportive environment
  • Prepare materials before sessions and ensure proper clean-up afterward
  • Supervise students and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space
  • Assist with or lead end-of-program showcases or presentations
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in sewing, fashion design, textiles, or related creative fields
  • Experience working with children in camps, after school programs, or educational settings
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills
  • Patient, energetic, and encouraging teaching style
  • Passion for creativity, design, and mentoring young learners
