Position: Part-Time English Tutor with ECCC
ECCC seeks a dedicated English Tutor to enhance learning experiences in the Greater Toronto Area. Commit 4 hours weekly to help students master English and succeed academically.

As the English Tutor at ECCC, your role will be pivotal in aiding Eritrean students' understanding of English. You’ll engage with them through homework assistance, test preparation, and study techniques to boost their confidence and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students in completing homework and projects

• Aid in understanding key classroom concepts

• Teach effective note-taking and studying strategies

• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship

• Offer guidance on academic best practices

Requirements:

• Degree in English, language, or literature

• Recent graduation in the past 5 years

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of the Ontario Educational system

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online teaching platforms
