Position: English Tutor for High School Students
Empower high school students with English skills at Prep Academy Tutors in North Toronto and Downtown Toronto. We seek committed educators ready to make a difference in students’ learning journeys.

As a High School English Tutor, you will focus on enhancing students' writing, reading, and analysis skills. Candidates should possess experience in teaching high school English and be adept at providing both in-person and online support. You'll develop customized learning experiences aligned with the Ontario curriculum and regularly update parents on student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized support to boost academic performance

• Facilitate reading and literary comprehension

• Design lesson plans that encourage critical thinking

• Prepare students for classroom assessments and OSSLT

• Maintain communication with parents about student achievement

Requirements:

• Experience tutoring or teaching English to high school students

• Familiarity with the Ontario secondary English curriculum

• Certification or enrollment in education programs preferred

• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
