This course examines the impacts of the internet on environmental thinking and policy-making. Topics include the use of social media as a tool for community-building and collaborative design, the sharing economy, online protest movements, mass surveillance and its implications, and the impact of misinformation on climate denialism.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in relevant area of study or equivalent professional and/or academic experience required.Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant academic or professional publications and previous experience teaching a similar undergraduate course are highly desirable.Description of Duties:
Develop a detailed syllabus and curriculum for the courseTeach the course in an in-person formatEvaluate student performanceHold office hours and meet with students as they requestManage teaching assistant(s)Handle other pedagogical and administrative tasks ordinarily associated with teaching an undergraduate courseApplication Instructions:
