The University of Toronto Mississauga is searching for a qualified Sessional Lecturer I to oversee Techniques in Biological Chemistry II. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry and demonstrate mastery of the subject through outstanding teaching and recent research contributions. This role includes preparing course materials, delivering lectures, grading, and supervising teaching assistants, enhancing students’ practical understanding of biochemical methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and conduct engaging weekly lectures
• Create and grade assessments to gauge student understanding
• Mentor and supervise teaching assistants during labs
• Maintain open office hours for student interaction
• Ensure high academic standards and course integrity
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in a relevant Chemistry field
