Shape young minds at Toronto Waldorf School as a Full-Time Lower School Class Teacher starting in August 2026. Engage with students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 while fostering a profound understanding of the Waldorf curriculum.
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding a class of up to 24 students, evaluating their academic, emotional, and social progress. You'll enhance your teaching through parental collaboration and contribute to curriculum development. This role combines teaching and administrative duties while actively participating in school events and faculty meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide a diverse classroom from Grade 1 to 8
• Evaluate students' progress and communicate with parents
• Lead parent evenings to explain Waldorf education
• Participate actively in faculty meetings and events
• Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum development
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Class Teacher
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in supporting parents with education
• Commitment to gaining Waldorf Teacher Certification
• Ability to collaborate within a diverse faculty
