This part-time position, beginning January 1, 2027, involves teaching a course on the intersection of social media and environmental policies at the St. George campus. Candidates should hold a PhD or relevant experience in the field and be willing to develop robust course content and manage teaching assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create an engaging syllabus for students
• Teach classes in-person on Fridays from 11 AM to 1 PM
• Hold office hours to meet student needs
• Supervise and guide teaching assistants
• Complete other pedagogical tasks linked to the course
Requirements:
• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrable experience with academic publications
• Strong teaching and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a diverse classroom
