Empower girls as a Grade 6 Junior School Teacher at The Bishop Strachan School. This contract role for the school year focuses on co-teaching and inquiry-based learning.
The Bishop Strachan School is seeking a collaborative Grade 6 Teacher who holds an Ontario College of Teachers certificate. You will engage in co-teaching and facilitate a dynamic program for young learners while collaborating with specialists.
Your role may also extend to co-curricular activities such as athletics, deepening student engagement and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and assess an inquiry-based curriculum
• Collaborate with specialists for holistic education
• Involve in co-curricular activities and athletics
• Participate in faculty planning sessions and events
• Document and share student progress effectively
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers certification required
• Experience in early childhood education essential
• Commitment to inclusive education practices
• Willingness to participate as a collaborative team member
• Passion for continuous professional development
